In practice, this means dozens of small and large actions \u2014 from grants and scholarships to investments in innovative production technologies.<br \/>\u201cWe have been part of this region for almost 170 years and see it as natural to help it grow. Being recognized by the jury as the top-rated organization among truly outstanding and large companies in this region is a tremendous honor,\u201d says CEO <strong>Jan K\u0159i\u010dka<\/strong>.<br \/>\u201cWithout exaggeration \u2013 everyone at SPOLCHEMIE contributed to this, whether they wear a helmet or sit behind a computer.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p><strong>Mini-Grants: When a Good Idea Needs a Small Financial Boost<\/strong><br \/>\nSometimes just a few thousand crowns are enough to turn an idea into a real project that makes a difference or creates unforgettable experiences. That&#8217;s why we launched the <strong>SPOLCHEMIE Mini-Grants program<\/strong> in 2019 \u2014 a program that allows employees and other active individuals or associations in our region to apply for up to <strong>CZK 10,000<\/strong> for community or environmental projects in their towns or villages. This allows us to support even small initiatives that might not find help elsewhere.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>EcoVadis: A Long-Term Barometer<\/strong><br \/>\nThe mini-grants stand alongside other activities that contribute to the company\u2019s strong reputation in sustainability. Last year, we retained our <strong>EcoVadis Gold Medal<\/strong> and achieved a score of 78 points, placing us among <strong>the top 5% of rated companies<\/strong>. This prestigious assessment includes 21 sustainability criteria and evaluates more than 130,000 companies worldwide.<br \/>\u201cThis ranking is a huge success for us and would not have been possible without the dedication, cooperation, and professionalism of our entire team,\u201d says Kamila V\u00edtek Derynkov\u00e1, who is responsible for sustainability and ESG at SPOLCHEMIE.<br \/>This year\u2019s results are still pending, but it is already clear that stable processes and transparency were key factors even for the Governor&#8217;s Award jury.    <\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #333399;\">\u201cIn the chemical industry, we were even among the top 2% globally last year.\u201d<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Thanks to the Whole Team<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Governor\u2019s recognition is above all confirmation that <strong>SPOLCHEMIE\u2019s core values \u2014 teamwork, expertise, shared responsibility, customer focus, and innovation <\/strong>\u2014 are also appreciated by those around us.
