SPOLCHEMIE retain Responsible Care certificates

SPOLCHEMIE proudly announces that its responsibility in business and concerns for the environment was again awarded by an international certificate of Responsible Care – this year for 20th year in a row. The prestigious awards was given to SPOLCHEMIE and CHS Epi, a member of the holding. Prize awarding ceremenony by the Association of Chemical Industry took place on a festive evening and certificates were personally received by Development Director, Mr. Tomáš Loubal and Technical Director, Mr. Pavel Žák.

"The entire group SPOLCHEMIE feels strongly about importance of social responsibility of our business and strives for its long term sustainability. We are part of the Usti Region for 160 years. During this long period of time there has been strong relations forged among our company, our employees and residents of the city of Ústí nad Labem. Obtaining certification is another proof that we are doing our best for the environment – definitely much more than is required from us by the law," Mr.Zak said on the occasion. SPOLCHEMIE regards its continuous grip on the international certificates as a sign that the company not only follow the latest trends, but its activities in this area are also going in the right direction. "We have signed in to implement principles of Responsible Care for the first time in 1994 and already two years later, we received the first certificate," added Pavel Žák.

Thanks to many technical and organizational measures, SPOLCHEMIE helps to the improvement of the environment, not only within its manufacturing area but also in the vicinity of the plant and in all places, where it delivers its products.
