SPOLCHEMIE awarded as one of top Czech exporters


Czech leading artificial resins producer SPOLCHEMIE - Spolek pro chemickou a hutní výrobu - has confirmed its position among the most important Czech exporters.

Between years 1993-2016 SPOLCHEMIE has ranked 19th overall place among all Czech exporters. As with export volume for 2016, company scored 26th total position. These results are based on the rating competition Exporter of the year 2017, traditionally organized by the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

  •  “This succesfull result is important in several aspects. We are exporting our products to more than 70 countries worldwide and furthermore, the majority of our production is being sold to the most demanding world markets. Thanks to our massive research and development programme, we are capable to offer our clients, i.e. the most technologically advanced applications of epoxy resins, not only for the construction segment, but also for automotive industry as well as energy sector in Western EU countries,” said the CEO of SPOLCHEMIE Daniel Tamchyna.


SPOLCHEMIE based in North-Bohemian town of Ústí nad Labem, has been among the World´s oldest chemical producer, with its own history stretching over 160 years. More than 88 % of its production is sold outside the Czech Republic and 75 % into the advanced market of EU-based customers.


SPOLCHEMIE - Spolek pro chemickou a hutní výrobu, a.s., is leading European producer of special epoxy resins and systems, commodity epoxy resins, potassium hydroxide, inorganic derivatives and other chemical products. Its long-term success and stability is based on its own integrated production, as well as on extensive innovation and R&D programme, thanks to which company holds a number of own patents and cerificates. As the first producer in the World, SPOLCHEMIE has obtained an international environmental EPD certificate for its epoxy resins production. SPOLCHEMIE's operations have undergone significant investments and upgrades in recent years. Over 90% of its current production facilities were put into operation after year 2000.
