Modern Warning System for the Population and the Areas Surrounding SPOLCHEMIE
A total of 681 digital detectors and 1,731 speakers connected to these entered into operation on Wednesday noon during a ceremonial opening. The warning system covers the entire city and can be used for fires, floods, terrorist attacks, accidents, as well as when searching for missing children or for other incidents. Its bi-directionality guarantees that its functionality is constantly monitored, and the system is also capable of independent operation for up to 72 hours after a power outage. Moreover, the system includes eight upgraded LED warning lights around the perimeter of our company that can stop traffic in the event of an emergency. This makes Ústí nad Labem one of the few Czech cities equipped with a state-of-the-art system of this kind.
